Job Summary: As a Houseperson, your responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of hotel rooms to uphold the hotel's cleanliness standards. This involves stripping out linens and promptly reporting any maintenance issues, damaged property, or lost and found items.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Remove garbage and recycling from offices and Housekeeping rooms.
• Clean and maintain mirrors and entrance doors.
• Spot clean carpets; report large stains for professional shampooing.
• Launder public areas' linen.
• Strip guest rooms of used linen for turnover.
• Maintain accurate records of room cleanings.
• Respond promptly to guest queries and deliver requested items.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in safe and sanitary condition.
• Adhere to company safety and security procedures.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly.
• Observe and report any damage to hotel property.
• Perform proactive duties; complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

• Adequate education and literacy for reading product labels and communicating with guests regarding job-related needs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and basic English communication is preferred.
• Previous in-person customer service experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in a related hospitality position is desirable.

• Basic understanding of proper cleaning operations.
