We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at , a 96 unit apartment community in Des Moines**,** Iowa.
*****In addition to the hourly rate, a sign on bonus of $1,500 minus taxes will be included if hired by 9/1/21! ($750 after 30 days of employment; $750 after 6 months of employment)*****
**Position Summary:**
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Community Manager with the daily operations of the property.
**Responsibilities:**
* Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals
* Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service
* Assist the Community Manager to train, direct, motivate, and assist site personnel
* Establish positive relationships within the community
* Be on-call as scheduled by management
**Qualifications:**
* 1 - 2 years previous property management experience preferred
* Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar designation preferred
* Section 8, Section 42, and/or Market Rate experience preferred
* Yardi software experience preferred
* Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong judgment
