THE SAFARILAND GROUP is Hiring a Finance Admin - Finance Manager Near Jacksonville, FL
TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES OVERVIEW Lead complex financial analysis within a manufacturing oriented operating group. Monitor the business performance and effectively communicate financial positions to upper management in the most efficient and effective manner. Lead the budget/forecast process to ensure timely and accurate submission of data and key analysis, including in-depth analysis on key drivers of the businesses, trend reporting, profitability analyses and interpretation of strategy and underlying growth/efficiencies. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the forecast/budget process; establishing a budget plan, calendar and guidelines in accordance with our business requirements.
Develop an effective profitability analyses model to effectively analyze key business drivers (both internal factors and external market and economic factors)
Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional management and facilitate communication between the business units in Finance.
Prepare analyses to management on a monthly basis (MMR) on key financial performance measurements, return on sales, cash to PBITA ratios & operating cash
Work cross-functionally to coordinate on-going planning and management reviews
Develop other key financial metrics and tools to highlight risks/opportunities
Analyze financial practices and processes and suggest competitive or efficiency improvements
Other duties as assigned by the Director, FP&A
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance; MBA preferred
Eight plus (8 ) years in financial disciplines including leading planning activities (budget, forecasting), profitability analysis, operations/financial analysis
Five plus (5 ) years in the development and preparation of performance reporting – planning/reporting tools and cash forecasting
Three plus (3 ) years experience in cross-functional lead financial support role(s) as well as strong leadership and management experience
Strong analytical background; results driven
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Well developed critical thinking and strong problem solving skills
Proven leadership and management experience
Demonstrated growth through increasing role responsibility and professional development
Strong business acumen, communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills, team orientation and strong systems skills and knowledge.
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and business operations personnel.
Advanced knowledge of Excel including experience with enterprise reporting systems
