Damien High School seeks a Director of Debate for the 2024-25 school year. Damien High School has a long-standing tradition of excellence in Policy Debate with teams competing annually in local and national tournaments. In addition to coaching, the Director of Debate will teach 3-4 sections of Introductory and Advanced Debate courses during the school year.
Inspired by St. Damien of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Damien High School, an all-boys Catholic school, develops men of Service, Scholarship, and Faith, prepared to engage in a dynamic global society.

Qualifications: Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Communication, or a related field; teaching and debate coaching experience preferred.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
