The Resales Specialist (Retail Sales Associate) is a key sales position in our retail stores at The RealReal. As a Resales Specialist, you are goal-oriented and driven to achieve and exceed sales goals. You're client-obsessed, adaptable to change in a "startup" environment, and passionate about sustainable luxury fashion. What You Get To Do Every Day

• Drive sales through client engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Provide a high level of service while navigating multiple customer journeys simultaneously
• Educate clients on The RealReal's mission of sustainable fashion and business structure
• Build brand loyalty by delivering a best in class customer experience
• Outreach daily to existing customers to drive traffic into your retail store
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Support store daily tasks, such as replenishing supplies, replenishing merchandise and maintaining brand standards
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of experience working in retail sales
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A positive, friendly demeanor with the ability to represent the TRR brand with integrity and professionalism at all times
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the customer experience
• Proven ability to excel in a metrics-based sales environment
• Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Adaptability and openness to change
• Receptiveness to feedback to improve performance
• Ability to quickly learn and master new technological tools

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous luxury/consignment retail experience
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce
• Experience using Mac iOS operating system

The expected hourly rate for this role is $16.67 - $23.30. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
