MEP Manager
Our client is a reputable Indianapolis construction company, who is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Manager with 5 - 10 years of MEP project management experience to join their growing team.
MEP Manager Duties
- Oversee and manage MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to client
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
- Review and approve project plans, drawings, and specifications
- Manage project budgets and financials, including costs and tracking
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams as needed
MEP Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Proven field experience in MEP (or in at least two of the three areas of the MEP) project management or a similar role
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent project scheduling and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Central Utility Plant experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents
- Large project experience in excess of $20M preferred.
