The Primary Health Network is Hiring a Medical Assistant/Scribe Near Castle, PA
Position Overview
This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties. Will shadow the provider and transcribe, document into the patient EMR appropriately and accordingly.
Location and Hours of Position
This position is primarily located in New Castle, PA and will travel to Sharon, PA Two (2) and a half days a week.
New Castle Primary Care: 1112 South Mill St., New Castle, PA 16101
Sharon Medical Group: 63 Pitt St., Sharon, PA 16146
The general office hours for this position is 7:30 AM-5:00 PM (with some evening hours required). The position is located in New Castle, PA.
NO WEEKENDS
Education/Experience Requirement
Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting.
Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant and/or two years' experience in a clinical setting
- Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
- Administering Medication
- Previous venipuncture and injection experience
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
- Computer proficient
