Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant or Clinical Support Staff to assist in daily tasks of the psychiatry outpatient private practice.

Responsibilities:

- Perform basic clinical tasks to support medical staff including but not limited to obtaining Vital Signs, giving injections, and taking patient phone calls.
- Record patient information such as vital signs and all patient correspondence in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Be responsible for completing refill requests from patients.
- Administer injections under the supervision and order of CRNP.
- Handle medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and be responsible for uploading paperwork in to EMR

Skills:

- Ability to interact effectively with patients in a calm and approachable behavior.
- Basic clerical skills such as answering/transferring calls and taking patient messages
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to accurately record and maintain patient information
- Experience with vital signs monitoring
- Ability to initiate tasks which are necessary for workflow of the office.

- Preferred experience with mental health clients and insurance verification process however not mandatory

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
