Care Staff is responsible for observing and attending to members’ symptoms, complaints, or conditions that may be affecting their physical, mental, or spiritual needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform required checks on all members as designated

· Assist members with their Activities of Daily Living including but not limited to room cleaning, activities, and assistance with consumers’ personal hygiene.

· Provide transportation to and from members’ appointments, as needed

· Cook/Assist members with meal times and snack times,

· Performing housekeeping tasks as assigned on facility checklists including but not limited to bathroom cleaning, facility laundry, and filling of supplies.

· Complete all necessary paperwork

· Attend all monthly in-services and any other meetings that are scheduled.

· Spend a majority of working shift out on the floors interacting with member to assist in meeting their individual needs and goals.

· Assist with activities as needed

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

· Must have a desire to work with persons with disabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
