**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and property maintenance.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in managing all aspects of assigned properties
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records
- Work with property management software (CMMS) to track maintenance requests and work orders
- Understand and adhere to relevant housing laws, including Section 8 and LIHTC regulations
- Assist in contract management and vendor relations
- Conduct property inspections and address tenant concerns promptly
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in property management or related field
- Familiarity with Section 8, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications
- Knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- Experience with data entry and maintaining organized files
- Ability to upsell services to tenants for increased revenue
