Requirements:A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
As a lead maintenance supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring our residents are happy with their residences. By working closely with your assistant maintenance technician, your main responsibilities are completing work orders, managing inventory, diagnosing and completing repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, drywall, etc... and delegating work to your assistant and vendors as necessary. You monitor and maintain all buildings that are assigned while implementing safety standards that comply with company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines. By maintaining a professional and courteous tone, you communicate with residents and gather valuable insight into the needs of the community.
You will oversee maintenance staff and ensure that performance meets company standards. You will assist in the make ready process, inspecting units, and practice and promote safety awareness at all times. You ensure the workshop, utility room, and mechanical rooms are always clean, orderly, and free of potential hazards. You are always reliable and respond within thirty minutes during your designated on-call hours.
