Position:
Lead Maintenance Technician (Located in Northeast Dallas)

Job Summary:
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in maintaining the standard of living that our residents have come to expect. You will address a wide range of maintenance needs within the property, ensuring that all facilities and apartments are in top condition. Your role is crucial in fostering a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for both current and prospective residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plays a critical role in all maintenance projects within the property.
  • Orders supplies from preferred vendors.
  • Works with contractors to collect bids and invoices.
  • Assigns and prioritizes work orders.
  • Works with Community Manager and Leasing team on all assigned projects.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, prioritizing based on urgency.
  • Assist in the preparation of apartments for new residents, ensuring that all spaces meet Reap Management’s high standards.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to provide input on property improvements and resident satisfaction initiatives.
  • Manage compliance with all housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of resident events, enhancing community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of Experience required in a Lead Maintenance role.
  • Minimum of three years experience working with HVAC systems.
  • Must have HVAC and EPA certification.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a multifamily property setting, or relevant skills acquired in a comprehensive customer service role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday are on call.
  • Position does require on call availability.
  • Availability to work weekends as required. Note: Operating hours may adjust based on seasonal needs and resident activities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of climbing stairs and walking extensive areas to inspect and tour the community.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable with standing or sitting for extended periods.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
