The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Training and Development Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This hybrid role works on site Mondays for New Employee Orientation plus 1 – 2 more days a week, then remote other days. This individual builds relationships across the organization to manage our orientations, essential training programs, maximize functionality of our Learning Management System, plus help create and update e-learning and instructor-led content. This position offers a good opportunity to broaden adult learning knowledge and expand foundational trainingskills while playing a key role in the design and delivery of our Training and Development Program, the Center for Learning.

We are looking for a proactive, dedicated individual that embraces efficiencies and technology without losing a sincere personal touch. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities are essential. Previous experience in event coordination or project management is highly valued. Proficiency in a learning management system and experience in training development are strongly desired. Additionally, exceptional writing skills, complemented by a warm and approachable demeanor, are indispensable. Above all, a genuine enthusiasm for facilitating adult learning is indispensable.

Starting pay range, based on experience: $26.44- $35.78 per hour.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance are 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Supports end users for various learning programs including e-learning, virtual and in-person training.
  • Oversees all aspects of our New Employee, Supervisor and Physician Orientations trainings and projects in support of our new and ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Manages the Learning Management System, including registration, scheduling and logistics of learning events to ensure their smooth and effective functioning. Will also be responsible for the socialization and optimization of the LMS, including documenting and tracking results.
  • Conducts needs analysis to determine common training needs. Recommends learning solutions.
  • Drives standardization efforts and measures the effectiveness of various learning deliverables, tools, resources and materials.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or other related field preferred
  • 2 years of prior experience working with adult learners
  • LMS and healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop and use systems for organizing and keeping track of information
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees.
  • Flexible with an ability to work independently and across teams effectively
  • Detail oriented with an ability to maintain a high level of organization, manage time and meet deadlines
