The bartender must be able to calmly and effectively work in an occasionally chaotic environment; successfully work in close proximity with others; efficiently work with a diverse guest population; have effective communication skills; and have a genuine philosophy of- and dedication to hospitality.
In addition, the bartender must be able to stand for long periods of time without a break; work in an occasionally chaotic environment, where direction may be given from several sources simultaneously; work with a diverse team and guest population; remain professional while "on stage"; be able to bend at the waist, squat, twist, and lift overhead. The bartender must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
