The Orchards at Northwest is Hiring an Infection Control Nurse Near Detroit, MI

What you would be doing: 

As the Infection Control Preventionist you would oversee and coordinate our Infection prevention and control programs and our safety programs including evaluations, education, and reporting. You would act as a consultant to the administrator, department managers and facility personnel. 

What your work schedule would be: 

The Infection Preventionist has a Monday through Friday work schedule.

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 based on experience

SIGN ON BONUS

 • LPN/RN Sign on Bonus - $7500: $1875 paid after 30 days and then the remaining $5625 will be paid out at six months. 

The Successful Candidate: 

  • must have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).

  • has a minimum of two years' experience in providing safety related functions in a long-term care environment demonstrated by knowledge of regulations, programming, investigation and reporting techniques. 

  • has excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
