Reports To: Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager
Position Overview: Cooks are responsible for preparing both batch recipes and menu items for service to our Guests, in accordance with the restaurant’s preparation standards and timings. Cooks will be working with the highest quality ingredients and must follow all standard procedures to ensure food safety, quality, and to minimize waste. In restaurants with an open kitchen, Cooks must be aware of the Guest at all times and be professional.
Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00 tips

Responsibilities: Upholds our company Mission – To Exceed the Guests Expectations.
Prepare all menu items and batch recipes in accordance with the restaurant's recipes, including shift meals for Team Members. Serves only food that meets Landmark's standards of quality.
Follows procedures as outlined in the Core Kitchen Workbook.
Sets up station, preps items necessary for station, and breaks down station in an efficient and thorough manner. Helps to maintain cleanliness of restaurant. Performs other duties like prep and cleaning duties as required or requested.
Works as a member of the restaurant team. Interacts with co-workers in a positive manner. Assists others whenever able.
Maintains positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward Guests and Crewmembers. Interacts with Guests and Crew in a friendly professional manner. Honors Guests' requests.
Maintains highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Follows Health Department standards for hygiene and safe food handling. Maintains current Food Handlers Permit.
Works toward ensuring profitability by controlling waste, following recipe guidelines, and maintaining the security of all product.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent physical coordination and manual dexterity. Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication.
Courteous and Guest First attitude. Team player.
High energy level; stamina; handles pressure well.
Dependable and reliable. Flexible schedule, when necessary.
Personal cleanliness.
Able to read and write in English. Able to read recipes and other instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25 pounds. Good sense of balance.
Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, kneel and bend.
Stamina; able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time.
