Position Overview: Bartenders service Guests and the servers by producing drinks in a timely and efficient manner. Bartenders, like every Team Member, are responsible for Guest service, to include taking orders and delivering food and beverages. Like Servers, Bartenders are also sales people who must have complete product knowledge in order to provide great descriptions to Guests and to educate other staff members.
Pay Range: $16.28 tips

Responsibilities: Upholds company mission and philosophy.
Produces drinks in a prompt, efficient manner, in accordance with the standards and procedures outlined in the Bartender Workbook and restaurant’s beverage recipes.
Promotes sales. Has a thorough understanding of restaurant's products. Educates Servers about beverage products.
Takes food and beverage orders accurately from Guests. Processes Guests' orders and ensures accuracy of items. Serves courses promptly, within timing standards.
Maintains bar according to standards. Performs setup, cleaning, and closing duties in an efficient and thorough manner. Helps to maintain cleanliness of restaurant.
Practices and encourages teamwork. Maintains positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude toward Guests and coworkers. Monitors service in the bar. Assists others as needed.
Maintains highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Follows Health Department standards for hygiene and safe food handling. Maintains current Food Handlers Permit.
Adheres to state liquor regulations in serving alcohol. Has current Liquor Permit on person when working.
Works toward ensuring profitability by proper portioning, controlling waste, promoting sales, and ensuring all items ordered are rung in.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excellent physical coordination and manual dexterity. Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication.
Courteous and Guest First attitude. Team player.
High energy level; stamina; handles pressure well.
Dependable and reliable. Flexible schedule, when necessary.
Personal cleanliness.
Able to read and write in English. Able to perform mathematical calculations and handle money.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 25 pounds. Good sense of balance.
Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, kneel and bend
Stamina; able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time.
