The North Point is a casual, upscale eating and drinking establishment focused primarily on tasty cocktails, local beers and affordable wines, with a great selection of simple but delicious food. We pride ourselves on having offered some of the best service in Portland since 2013.
We’re looking for an experienced bartender. You’re looking to take a step up.
Responsibilities will include managing our bar while assisting in all FOH operations including bartending and serving. You’re organized and can manage tasks such as inventory, ordering, cleaning and scheduling efficiently and effectively.
You know what needs doing, how to do it and/or how to ask! You have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize. You're able to teach, train and motivate other staff members.
This position can be either full or part time, depending on your availability. At a minimum, you'll work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Friday and/or Saturday shifts can be discussed if you want something closer to fulltime. We’re currently closed on Sundays and Mondays, so you'll always get at least two days off every week.
Customer service will be a top priority, as will your ability to attract new guests and keep them coming back. We’re looking for a team player, willing to pitch-in where needed. We have a very small staff and all tips are normally pooled (FOH only).
Expected income for this position will be $25-$45 / hour, based on an hourly wage plus tips.
