The Food and Nutrition Department on the Sarah Neuman campus is seeking a full time Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This role will sit in the Westchester location.
Job Description:
-Direct and supervise workers engaged in the preparation and service of food.
- Assign and coordinate work assignments to promote efficiency of operations.
- Conduct daily meal rounds; supervise serving of meals.
- Inspects kitchen and dining areas to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Prepares work schedules and evaluates job performance of employees.
- Interview, select, or hire new employees.
- Implement and maintain an effective orientation and on the job training for all employees.
- Organize and distribute daily catering functions.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulatory agency.
