The Nagler Group is Hiring a Call Center Representative Near Middletown, CT

SkillsAre you a self-motivated customer service professional with outstanding communication skills & and a warm and professional demeanor? This contract Call Center Representative opportunity with a nationally ranked medical practice could be just the right opportunity for you! In this position you will serve as the initial point of contact through to register all patients, including intake, checking patients in, receiving phone calls, and verifying patient information. Other duties include:
  • Verifying patient insurance and referrals
  • Checking patients in and out and verifying and updating all demographic and insurance information; collection of co- payments resulting in proper cash reconciliation
  • Maintaining appointment computer scheduling in accordance with office scheduling policies
  • Reviewing patient accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, and sending patients with overdue payments to the patients accounts team
  • Contacting / interacting with appropriate facilities, such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, etc. regarding patient care
  • Scheduling diagnostic tests / follow up appointments
  • Performing administrative support as required
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One-year medical office, call center or related experience. Patient Services experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and other regulatory policies
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize in order to address multiple needs simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with patients, medical staff, coworkers, and the public by displaying sympathy, tact and understanding
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude & demonstrate excellent telephone protocol and professional etiquette
  • Capacity to work with and without supervision and perform a variety of routine tasks.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on all patient matters
The Call Center Representative role is a full-time, contract position (through at least August) onsite in Middletown, CT. Pay rate is $20.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience. The hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Interested or want to learn more? Reach out or apply today.
