The Home Health Aide provide personal care services to assist clients toward independent living in a safe and comfortable environment.

Your Contributions:

  • Performs only those personal care activities contained in a written assignment by a qualified health professional employee, which shall include but shall not be limited to assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing and shaving
  • Ensures that the client receives adequate nutrition including preparing the client for meals and assisting the client as necessary. Encourages and offers fluids to provide adequate oral intake
  • Performs light housekeeping tasks such as laundering of the clients’ personal garments, dish washing and vacuuming
  • Provides escort services such as transporting the client to the doctor or other appointment

Your Background:

  • High school education preferred but not necessary
  • Florida State Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide Certification preferred but not necessary. Will train. 
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Previous experience in home health, hospital, or nursing home preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
