Housekeeping - 3rd Shift (10 : 45pm - 7 : 00am)

Peace River Citrus Products, Inc. Clower Facility in Bartow, Florida

SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for daily cleaning of the interior building for our facility. Completes a variety of cleaning tasks, including : mopping, vacuuming, restrooms, breakrooms, cleaning surfaces, and emptying trash.

This employee will report to the maintenance supervisor with general hours of 10 : 45 PM - 7 : 00 AM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cleaning and maintenance of flooring.
• Thorough cleaning of breakrooms and appliances.
• Thorough cleaning of restrooms.
• Disinfect common areas.
• Cleans windows and mirrors.
• Emptying trash.
• Keeps janitorial closet clean.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Maintaining cleaning product inventory. Informing the maintenance supervisor when inventory is low.
• Comply with FDA, USDA, and GMP policies. Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Food Safety, and Cost objectives.

Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under PRCP Quality System.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.
