The Mom Project is Hiring a Remote Project Coordinator

Our Customer’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. We are seeking a Project Coordinator on a contract basis who is highly skilled and experienced with a strong background in working with design functions across a Product Development Process (PD/CD/UXR/Art). The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management and operations abilities, capable of handling multiple complex projects simultaneously. Experience working with cross-functional partners, particularly Engineering and Product teams, is crucial. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, San Diego, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, and Boston, MA.
What You’ll Do:
Manage a multitude of design projects, ensuring teams are clear and focused on executing milestones while building strong relationships with design partners
Collaborate with management and leadership to optimize the performance of the design team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
Run rituals and routines for design teams, including crits, reviews, and weekly syncs, fostering a collaborative and constructive environment for feedback and iteration
Maintain accurate reporting and tracking of project plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and being followed by the teams (Success will be measured based on project delivery and adherence to quality metrics)
Take proactive steps to drive action and progress, displaying a bias for action and a willingness to take the initiative without waiting for explicit direction
Support the development and launch of new products into the market, particularly in the context of the Company's vision to build the future of work, making remote collaboration feel connected, collaborative, and empowering
Leverage your experience in the technology industry to bring valuable insights and best practices to the design projects
Manage a multitude of design projects
Work with management and leadership to optimize the performance of the design team
Must-Haves:
Extensive experience working with design functions, including Product Development (PD), Concept Design (CD), User Experience Research (UXR), and Art
Strong project management and operations background, with the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
Proficient in working with cross-functional partners, particularly Engineering and Product teams
Familiarity with SAAS/enterprise products is a plus
Comfortable and adept at working in ambiguous scenarios, capable of guiding and influencing designers and partners to achieve project goals
Technology industry experience is highly advantageous
Demonstrated ability to drive action and effectively manage teams toward successful project outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with design partners and stakeholders
Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to tracking and reporting project progress accurately
Candidates with a background in SAAS/enterprise products will be preferred, although it is not a strict requirement. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable and thrive in ambiguous scenarios, capable of taking the lead and guiding designers and partners toward successful project outcomes
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
