The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is Hiring a Lead Boutique Coordinator Near Riverside, CA

Job Overview:

The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is a AAA Four Diamond hotel destination in Riverside, CA, and is seeking an experienced an knowledgeable Lead Boutique Coordinator to join our team. If you are passionate about retail and customer service, and have the skills to lead we would love to hear from you. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.
  • Maximizes revenue and cash flow by promoting boutique retail.
  • Communicates all pertinent information to the Spa Director.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and safe facility.
  • Maintains a clean and organized the boutique by monitoring the facilities regularly.
  • Calls housekeeping for cleaning services.
  • Reports any necessary repairs to engineering.
  • Assists in the efficient operation of the department.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner and assist guests with any questions.
  • Handles all guest complaints with the utmost confidence, grace and concern for their satisfaction.
  • Provides courteous, efficient service to all guests and boutique visitors.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives, for both personal and boutique goals
  • Need to plan and implement shop merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image, and ergonomics for customers
  • Ensure stock is processed to agreed standards and timescales
  • Supervising and guiding staff towards maximum performance
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to bring in business for boutique when traffic is slow
  • Establish strategic goals bases on the needs of the business
  • Point person for Casey's, based on needs of the business

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Computer/Window based software experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Customer service oriented
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Positive, courteous and enthusiastic attitude
  • Self-motivating personality with good problem resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a cash bank and adhere to all hotel banking and point-of-sale regulations including money drops, exchanging cash and receiving periodic bank audits.
  • Additional Qualifications
  • Must have previous experience in Hotel and Retail.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and Festival of Lights·
  • Previous customer service preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long period of times.
