The Minikahda Club is seeking driven, happy, genuine, and professional individuals for the position of Front Desk Concierge. The Concierge team is the heart and soul of the Club House operations. As the first point of contact, you play a crucial role in ensuring everyone who visits The Minikahda Club feels welcomed and valued —the Concierge staff are equal parts Minikahda Ambassadors and Extraordinary Hosts. You will use your talents to provide exceptional service to the membership and their guest. Member engagement in all aspects of creating a positive and supportive experience for the members is key to this position.
Compensation and Schedule:
Job Type: Part-time
Entry Compensation: $17 -$18 /hour depending on experience
25-30 Hour Work Week

Responsibilities Specific to This Position:
Approach all encounters with members and guest in a friendly- service- oriented
manner.
Welcome all members and guest as if they were arriving in your own home.
Responsible for answering the phones courteously and professionally.
Responsible for making and assisting members in reservations for dining and events.
Responsible for communicating with staff before dinner service about members regarding special requests/events i.e., birthdays, anniversaries.
Responsible for lost and found.
Responsible for taking to-go food orders and accurately communicating orders with the food and beverage department. .
Assist members with printing and/or delivery of newsletter.
Communicating member concerns to management promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Must be able to anticipate and fulfill the needs of members.
Perform additional duties as assigned by club leadership.
Working Environment:
Position requires sitting for several hours at a time, yet moving up and down, inside and out depending on the needs of the members and employees. Lifting boxes or deliveries may be required as needed.
The Minikahda Club is a private Country Club founded in 1898 along the west edge of beautiful Bde Maka Ska. The Club has developed a distinction and a tradition matched by only a few great country clubs in the United States. It is a family club offering an outstanding range of recreational and social opportunities. The employees play a key role in the member’s enjoyment of their club.
