Job Title: Associate Director, Planned Giving
Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is seeking top talent for its Associate Director, Planned Giving position. Reporting to the Planned Giving Director, the Planned Giving Associate Director will manage a portfolio of planned giving prospects. The ideal candidate will have experience in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned gifts from individuals and families. They will work across the Development team to deepen donor engagement and collaborate with advisors to provide planned giving expertise in support of planned giving opportunities.
A successful candidate will feel at home as a member of a dynamic and supportive team and be adept at managing shifting priorities while building and strengthening The Foundation’s impact. The Planned Giving Associate Director will develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with colleagues within Development and across the Foundation.
This role will primarily manage relationships across the West Coast. This fundraiser may be based remotely with regular travel to assigned donors and periodic travel to the MJFF NYC office required. Travel expectations are approximately 25% of the year with the occasional weekend travel or work requirements. Team members plan travel for highest strategic impact; thus travel cadence varies (some seasons are more active than others).

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Employees are also eligible for a discretionary bonus on an annual basis. MJFF provides staff and leadership cultivation through regular training courses and events.
