The MC Hotel is Hiring a Bartender, Part-Time Near Montclair, NJ
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
- Be familiar with the menus, including preparation, ingredients and description
- Be familiar with the beverage list, including glassware used
- Follow the established procedures to ensure knowledgeable, correct and efficient order taking
- Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a speedy, efficient and professional manner
- Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- Carry trays, bus and reset tables with the appropriate items
- Handle payment for all guest checks
- Complete closing financial work and shut down and cleaning of bar area
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Must have NJ ABC License and/or must acquire within 60 days of hire date
- Minimum of 2 years of food and beverage experience
- Great wine and food knowledge
- Able to work well unsupervised
- Computer skills helpful but not required
- Able to work alone without direct supervision
