Position Overview:

The Sales Executive will lead the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location customers across three brands: Unarco Industries, Cannon Equipment, and LA Darling.

Job Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze data to develop insights that inform strategic business decisions.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development goals with overall company strategy.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Lead the development of proposals and presentations for client pitches.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive business development efforts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Provide feedback to enhance products/services based on client needs and market demands.

Networking:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network within the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, with a minimum of five years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the retail market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
