The Manchester Hotel is an upscale lifestyle hotel, opened in the Spring of 2023, in the heart of the Distillery District of Downtown Lexington, KY. We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated Night Auditor to be part of our guest experience team.

At The Manchester Hotel, we are not here to do what has already been done. We are innovators, producers and innkeepers with a strong sense of community. The Night Auditor is responsible for all duties of the front desk operation which includes: guest registration, payment settlement, inter-department communications and problem resolution- in addition to ensuring daily balances are reconciled and accurate. The Night Auditor should possess strong communication skills. In addition to assisting in the operation of the Front Office operation and guest services personnel.

Duties include:

• Perform all tasks of a Front Office Staff as needed to facilitate service
• Maintain information on prices, rates, specials, packages, programs, etc,
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process
• Run all reports to ensure daily balances
• Complete periodic floor walks to ensure Guest and Staff safety
• Address any noise complaints and follow through with guests
• Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily during scheduled shifts
• Create and export various logs and reports to be distributed daily
• Have a working knowledge of security procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position, all applicants welcome.
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Maintain the ability to work without direct supervision
• Proficient in basic computer and math skills
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Shift availability:

• Overnight Shift (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
