We’re looking for a friendly and guest service-focused individual to join our team as Starbucks Manager! The Starbucks Manager is responsible for leading all team members in the efficient and profitable operation of the store in addition to overseeing the hiring, training, and coaching of all Starbucks employees to provide world-class guest service. In this role you are responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring a positive environment which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the food and beverage industry; previous restaurant or retail management experience strongly preferred, but not required. Our location is open 6am-6pm Monday-Friday and 6am-2pm Saturday and Sunday. Candidate's must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Additionally, the Starbucks Manager:

• Displays a customer-first attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering excellent customer service
• Plans, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
• Holds daily huddles and regular one-on-one sessions with all team members
• Provides ongoing training, sets goals, and coaches the Starbucks team members
• Communicates with the Starbucks Regional Manager to ensure proper training and compliance standards are met and exceeded
• Strong ability to manage several projects at once and stand for the duration of the day
• Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks and The Madison Concourse Hotel
• Ensures proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed including proper product rotation and storage
• Must possess leadership skills, maturity, technical skills, and strong communication skills
• Has experience in ordering, inventory maintenance, and shrink control
• Performs other duties as assigned
