The Learner's Nest Academy in Houston, TX is looking for one childcare infant teacher to join our strong team. We are located on 17214 Red Oak Drive. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

* Facilitate learning and development through age-appropriate activities. *Promote socialization. * Ensure the overall well-being of children. *Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities *Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents. *Assist in preparing food and serving meals. *Maintain a clean and sterile environment.

Qualifications

*Must be 18 years old and possess a high school diploma/GED or higher. *Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting. *First Aid / CPR certification or willingness to become certified. *Be available to work Monday through Friday. *1 year experience within child care (preferred). *Ability to motivate and engage children and manage behavioral challenges. *Good judgment and sound decision making. *Ability to lift and move supplies. *We are looking forward to reading your application.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.00 - $14.00/hour.
