League Inc. is Hiring a Remote Vice President, People & Culture

Position Summary:

League is powering the next generation of healthcare consumer experiences. We are a scale-up on a mission to empower people with their health everyday. We recently raised $95M in our Series C round and are positioned for hyper-growth over the next 24 months.

We are on the search for an innovative, HR leader who will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise in scaling organizations, creating a differentiated employee culture and experience, engaging employees and enabling our growth globally.

In this role you will:

  • Work with Senior Leadership Team and the People and Culture Team to build upon and execute the long-term strategy for the People and Culture function that enables our hyper-growth.
  • Work with the Chief People Officer and lead a team of experienced HR practitioners including AVPs, Senior Business Partners and People & Culture managers.
  • Ensure that all People and Culture decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with our core values and serve to strengthen our differentiated employee culture.
  • Lead the People and Culture team, ensuring that it operates efficiently and executes on goals.
  • Execute company-wide performance management programs that encourage a high-performance culture and drive continuous, transparent feedback.
  • Lead and measure the strategy to build engagement and connectivity between remote employees and keep them feeling connected to our mission.
  • Champion well-being programs in partnership with the communications team so that employees feel supported and knowledgeable about our benefits.
  • Influence and inform our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives so that all Leaguers feel a sense of belonging and community.
  • Partner with leaders across the company to understand and anticipate hiring and development needs.
  • Prepare workforce plans and organizational designs that support business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, state, and local laws and employment regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel regarding employment matters and compliance with regulations.
  • Partner cross-functionally on ongoing initiatives with several teams including, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Communications, Legal and Finance.

About you:

  • Over 10 years of People & Culture leadership experience leading teams and their strategic road maps.
  • Demonstrated success developing and ensuring a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-impact programs in performance management, retention, and employee well-being and engagement.
  • Experience scaling a high-growth organization in the tech sector.
  • Passion for health and helping increase access to healthcare for everyone.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment legislation and best practices.
