Direct hourly work force by placing employees in specific jobs. Ensure accurate training of employees, Monitoring the employee performance and make corrections as necessary.
Motivate employees to do a good job and to maintain good attendance.
Supply employee counseling sessions and handle leave early and bathroom requests.
Coordinate plant policies consistently with all employees.
Accurately complete all paperwork and computer work.
Calculate yields, utilization, tickets, etc.
Collect and process all labor data for department and requisition supplies and other materials needed for the department.
Be able to complete safety audits, work requests, compliance documentation and any other applicable paperwork.
Responsibility for your area. Make quick and sound decisions in the absence of the supervisor.
Ensure quality levels of all products are maintained and ensuring safety of all employees!
Achieve all schedules, maintain costs at or below standard and work to implement changes vital to improve your operation.
Work closely with your supervisor keeping him/her abreast of all department issues.
Collaborate with hourly, management and USDA in an encouraging, open, and objective manner.
Have a validated understanding of and the ability to perform all jobs in your area and follow and implement all company policies, rules, and regulations.
Required to lift up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Be consistent across the job posting, interview, assessments, and the job itself
