Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of store operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service to advance their career in retail management.
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and develop sales associates to deliver excellent service and achieve sales goals
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management
- Assist with scheduling and managing employee work hours
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Store management skills:
- Ability to assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management principles
- Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques
Sales management skills:
- Ability to drive store revenue through effective sales strategies
- Experience in setting sales goals and monitoring performance
