The King's Daughters' School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

We are seeking Residence Assistants to work in a house with 8-12 clients. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.

Part-time

• Fri 10pm-Sat 8am and Sat 10pm-Sun 8am
• $16/hr ($14 base pay with a $2 shift differential for midnight shifts)
• 20 hrs/week with opportunities to pick up extra hours

Minimum requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's license required
• 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
• Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions).

Primary responsibilities:

• Maintain a warm, family-or home-like environment in a house of 8-12 clients.
• ADLs, social skills, behavior management.
• Ensure the residence is being left in a clean and orderly manner.
• Transport students as needed.
