Role Summary:
Reporting to the Solution Consultant Manager, we are seeking a driven and personable SaaS Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team and play a crucial role in our company's growth within the SaaS industry. This is a sales role requiring this person to regularly contact customers through phone calls and other communication methods. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing existing customer accounts that currently are not actively managed by an Account Manager and for prospecting new accounts. Your ability to understand client needs, provide exceptional service, and drive revenue growth will be pivotal in achieving our sales objectives.
Exciting work you will do:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the SaaS Inside Sales Representative position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with assigned SaaS clients, acting as their main point of contact; understand their business needs and challenges to effectively position additional products or services
  • Account Base Growth: Discover or expand SaaS sales with existing house accounts and net new customers by leveraging various sales channels
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to expand client accounts by presenting complementary products, upgrades, or additional features that align with their goals and needs
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS products and services, staying up-to-date with new features and industry trends; effectively communicate product value propositions to clients
  • Sales Administration: Utilize CRM tools to accurately track client interactions, maintain pipeline data, and generate sales reports; ensure accurate forecasting and reporting to sales management
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify areas for improvement

What you’ll need:
  • Work Experience: 2 years’ of inside sales or SaaS experience
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with MS Office; demonstrated ability to learn new software; demonstrated ability to decide which products to focus on and how best to reach customers
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communications, problem solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Qualifications we prefer but don’t require:
  • Work Experience: Previous inside sales experience with a SaaS product line; experience interfacing or supporting a direct sales force
  • Technical Knowledge: Edge to cloud solutions for manufacturing and cyber security
  • Industry knowledge: A general understanding of manufacturing best practices
