Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team!
Scope of Role : Location : Kissimmee, FLHours : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Job Engagement : Contract to Hire
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Assist Physician with injections and EKG's
- Chart prep, room patients, scanning / faxing records, phone intake calls and other duties as assigned
- Organize, stock and clean exam rooms
- Perform PT / INR's
- Maintain quality control standards
Qualifications & Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) language proficiency
- Have 2 years experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting
- Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge
- ICD-9 / 10 and CPT coding experience
- eCW experience
