A day in the life…

Wondering what a day in the life of an Infusion Center Lab Supervisor at The Iowa Clinic might look like? You will:

• Coordinate and supervise patient care, daily operational activities, scheduling of staff, regulatory compliance, patient safety, high standard of customer service, and quality within the Outpatient Infusion Center environment.
• In collaboration with Director, assumes accountability for maintaining high-quality, cost-effective services within budgetary guidelines. Schedules and facilitates meetings with staff and physicians regarding the Infusion Center.
• Receive patients, explain procedures, check vital signs, and administer therapy, monitor reactions, and report to physicians.
• Ensure all appropriate Prior Authorization is complete and documented for proper payment to the Infusion Center.
• Manages overall daily operational activities of the Infusion Center.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing Program required, BSN Preferred

Qualifications

RN license, BLS certification (American Heart Association required), ACLS
