The Hernia Center is Hiring a Full Time Office Administrator (Hernia Specialist - Workers Compensation - Age Management) Near Saint Petersburg, FL

Full Time Office Coordinator for Hernia Practice - Surgical Specialist:

Minimum: High school graduate with 2 year of office experience.

Some openings may require phlebotomy experience. Must have the ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently.

- in office/remote hybrid position

- Prefer Bilingual: “Spanish/English”

Criminal background and drug screening required as well as excellent professional references.

Role:

Supports Medical Practitioner and Office Coordinator

Patient Liaison

Front Office

Maintains Clinical Area

Scheduling/Surgery Booking

Billing/Basic Accounting

Other Duties as Assigned

Responsibilities include:

⁃ Phone Interaction with Referrals and patients

⁃ Calendar Management

- Scheduling & Booking pre/post op appointments

⁃ Excel Spreadsheet creation and maintenance

⁃ Word: (Microsoft Office)

-Dictations

⁃ Billing /AR follow-up (not medical insurance)

Downtown St Petersburg:

Office Building, Free garage parking. M-F / business hours.

Need to be:

Diligent, organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize, but multi-task, respond to texts, emails quickly and efficiently follow directions of management.
