The Hardy Group is Hiring a Human Resources Business Partner Near Springs, GA

Office Location: Sandy Springs, Georgia. Hybrid with option to work from home 1 day per week.Job Summary:The Human Resource Business Partner will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Leads & coordinates learning & development training program for employees and supervisors.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Interpret and counsel management and employees on policies, procedures and programs relating to recruiting and human resources to address and resolve all types of employee relations issues, ensuring balance in representing the interests of all parties.
  • Determine and recommend practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high-level of employee morale; consistently maintain favorable and effective relations among applicants and employees; accountable for motivating and ensuring managers provide consistent, equal, and fair treatment of applicants and employees.
  • Investigate various employee relations matters and prepare well-written materials for documentation clearly conveying information.
  • Coordinate approvals and tracking of time off and assist accounting with management of professional staff project time tracking using Nexonia system.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years’ HR Generalist experience coupled with Bachelor’s degree coupled with direct experience handling all facets of recruiting/talent acquisition/sourcing and experience handling employee relations matters and answering general inquiries involving benefits, company policies, and employee leaves
  • Work collaboratively with Management and all levels of personnel and accustomed to working quickly, accurately and comfortably with applicants, employees, managers, vendors, various software systems and spreadsheets.
  • Familiar with legal and administrative requirements involving Employee Relations
  • Ability to manage confidential data and information.
  • Successful completion of references, employment verifications, and background screen in advance of hire
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
