The Harding Firm has a great career opportunity. The Firm is in need of an Administrative Assistant. This position plays an intricate role in the day-to-day operations of The Harding Firm and focuses on office organization and communicating with clients, potential clients, the courts, and other law offices. We need someone with a positive attitude and great communication skills! The right candidate will be an organized and detail oriented individual, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute their workload under pressure. Being a self-starter is a must!

The ideal candidate needs to be an independent worker and someone who takes ownership of their assignments and duties. He/she must be an effective communicator. Problem-solving skills are a must. The Administrative Assistant must be a critical thinker and be able to provide viable solutions.
While it is not necessary, the perfect candidate will have the following:
· A desire to secure long term employment;
· Experience working in an administrative position during or after 2013;
· Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel;
· Experience with managing client billing and receiving payments.
The Administrative Assistant will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.
Daily duties and responsibilities:
· Interact with customers daily ensuring their experience and services are satisfactory;
· Ensure customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner and prior to reaching upper management;
· Answer the phones quickly and professionally with minimal transfers to voicemail;
· Respond to emails promptly and in a competent manner;
· Greet all guests for in person appointments;
· Set up and maintain client files by ensuring electronic files and hard files match at all times;
· Schedule appointments;
· Update and maintain The Harding Firm’s case status list;
· Billing;
· Maintain office cleanliness;
· Draft disengagement letters and form pleadings;
· Assist paralegal; and
· Update client timesheets.
