We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of our Center for Excellence to join our team of talented professionals.

The Director of the Center for Excellence (CFE) is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for leading all program development, research and evaluation, grant writing and staff training efforts for the organization. This includes supporting individual programs and departments in identifying and implementing evidence-based treatment, integrating agency- wide strategic planning elements into short- and long-term planning initiatives, fostering the development of goals and objectives for all programs and reporting outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. The Director is also responsible for maintaining TGC’s CCBHC Demonstration Site status, managing TGC’s Relias Learning Management System, and providing oversight to TGC’s internship program and the Nurture the Future community events program. The Director oversees a team of supervisors, project coordinators, researchers/program evaluators, trainers, grant writers, and others. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; however, specific tasks and/or processes will require evening and weekend hours. Some travel is also required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human service, healthcare, education, public policy or public management field is required. 
• At least five year's experience conceptualizing, writing and carrying out program and policy development and five years of experience in program administration and supervision required, and at least five years clinical experience in behavioral or mental health field preferred. 
• At least two years of experience designing, implementing and evaluating training curricula at a university, agency or regional level is also preferred.
• Must have the ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with administrators and staff at the agency, county, state and federal levels, taking a lead role in various committees, task forces, etc. 
• Must have detailed knowledge of various evidence-based treatment practices utilized in the behavioral health field as well as specific training and credentialing requirements for staff at all levels of the community mental health system. 
• A current valid driver’s license with no negative history is required. 
• Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of our staff members and the programs they represent.
