Overview

The Goddard School of River Park is an education and curriculum based facility where the focus is on academic growth as well as social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

An Assistant / Floater staff at The Goddard School of River Park is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Assistant Teachers are responsible for creating appropriate and engaging lesson plans, as well as assessing progress and development of the children in the classroom. Assistant Teachers must be able to effectively communicate with parents and families and work together in conjunction with the entire faculty.

Requirements:

• A complete background check
• Punctual and disciplined
• Maintain professionalism and clean appearance
• Must be able to change diapers
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations

Educational Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred but not required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:

• Supporting communication appropriately and professionally with both parents and fellow staff members.
• Support admin and lead teachers with daily responsibilities
• Health and hygiene of little ones
• Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
• Maintain professionalism and clean appearance
• Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
• Arriving each day with a positive outlook and a great sense of humor

• Monday to Friday

• Reliably commute before starting work (Required)
