Job Summary:
The Business Reporter will cover a variety of business, technology and personal finance news in the Pikes Peak region; help cover business news statewide; investigate and report about business legal and ethics issues; and explore and localize national business trends.
The reporter will produce a high volume of engaging content that helps drive readership, engagement and revenue. This position will work independently while being a part of a team of journalists. The reporter will focus business but may work on a variety of content including breaking news, general, investigative and other assignments.
The Gazette is part of Clarity Media's network of publications, which also includes The Denver Gazette, Colorado Politics, OutThere Colorado, and The Washington Examiner in Washington, D.C. We frequently collaborate across brands, with content and with resources. Clarity Media has the largest journalism staff in the state of Colorado.
This reporter’s work schedule will include nights and weekends and is based in the Colorado Springs newsroom.
