Our HR Generalist is a key piece of our HR Team's success and the happiness of our employees, working hand in hand with our HR Team. This dynamic role covers everything from benefits and compensation to recruitment, learning and development, HRIS, and employee relations. We're looking for someone with a solid grasp of HR practices and a knack for organization.
The HR Generalist will dive into crafting engaging learning programs and handling various HR tasks like filing, compliance, recruitment, and assessments.This role is pivotal in shaping a workplace culture that's all about engagement, innovation, and operational excellence, partnering closely with our Senior HR Manager to implement policies and practices that keep our environment thriving.
PRIMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS//

Policy and Culture Advocate: Drive the infusion of our core cultural values across the organization, ensuring alignment with our vision and values in partnership with department leaders. By managing effective communication, you'll keep our team informed, engaged, and motivated towards personal and organizational growth, fostering an environment that supports career satisfaction and increased productivity.
HR Leadership and Operational Excellence: Manage the HR frameworks with precision, including maintaining the Master Audit list and updating HR azure boards. Provide insightful analytics and performance reports to the Senior HR Manager to inform strategic direction. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in HR management, ensuring our practices promote innovation and high engagement.
Comprehensive Recruitment and Talent Strategy: Oversee the full cycle of the recruitment process, from strategizing innovative hiring practices to executing detailed sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes. Enhance our employer brand and attract top-tier talent, ensuring their seamless integration into our culture.
Strategic Initiatives and Process Optimization: Work closely with senior leadership to develop HR initiatives that align with our strategic goals, improving operational efficiency through innovative policies and procedures. Your role will include managing HRIS & benefits software, designing key HR metrics for continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, including EEO-1 reports.
Management and Enhancement of the 360 Assessment Process: Oversee our well-established 360 assessment process, ensuring it effectively facilitates feedback and development within our organization. Keep managers on task, well-informed, and fully engaged in the process, and manage the yearly updates to the process to ensure its ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
Targeted Responsibilities:
Development, Compliance, and Integrity Assurance: Facilitate the growth and development of our team members to enhance productivity and steer the company toward greater achievements. Conduct thorough audits to maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Employee Engagement and Benefits Management: Play a key role in administering employee benefits and addressing people-related inquiries with a hands-on approach. Your dedication will be key to achieving exceptional levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
Diverse Talent Sourcing and Effective Onboarding: Develop and implement strategic plans for sourcing candidates from diverse backgrounds, highlighting our commitment to an inclusive workforce. Manage the creation and updating of job descriptions, track hiring metrics, and oversee all documentation related to the onboarding process, including the filing and I-9/E-Verify process as needed.
REQUIREMENTS//
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant field; Graduate degree preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years human resource experience, preferably in the outdoor, construction or manufacturing industry
Extensive Excel Skills necessary
SHRM Certification preferred
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation
Ability to work on all levels such as repetitive administrative tasks as well as high-level strategic tasks
Must be proactive, a team player with a sense of humor, and someone who is adaptable and comfortable with change, ambiguity, and working independently
Proficient in MS Office 365 products
Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Exceptional level of attention to details with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Must take pride in and maintain integrity in their work
Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Scrum process a bonus
Be able to collaborate and innovate to create exceptional value for our members, our company, and ourselves
