Company Overview:
The French Farm is an importer/distributor of high end, shelf-stable gourmet foods and tabletop accessories imported from France, Spain, Italy, and other western European countries. The majority of our business is wholesale distribution throughout the US, with a customer focus on gourmet retail stores, cheese shops, wineries, small regional grocery stores, and a few major high-end grocery chains. Roughly 5% of our business is comprised of online retail sales. Our mission is to provide access to the best European gourmet and culinary products while providing our customers with the highest level of customer service.
We are a small, versatile team of 18 employees, and everyone wears different caps.
We are currently looking for a new Warehouse Associate to join our team. The main focus of this position will be preparing and shipping orders to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, prepare and ship orders accurately according to our standard operating procedures.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory via shipping containers.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory audits when necessary.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines.
Compensation:
- $36,880 to $41,040 total compensation per year, plus overtime
- $11.00 to $13.00 hourly
- $16.50 to $19.50 overtime wage
- Approximately $14,000 per year in monthly bonuses based on sales
- 10 holidays off per year
- 80 hours of vacation per year to start
- 5 paid sick days per year
- Health insurance option (50% company paid)

Requirements:
- Candidate must have a great customer service attitude.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50-75lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends (as needed).
- Keep a clean and safe work environment.
- Legal to work in the US.
- Knowledge of French and European culture is a plus.
- Experience in food service is a plus.
