What you’ll do…
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies.
- Pick, package, deliver to production, and ship orders accurately.
- Receive, store, and maintain material into stock locations.
- Inspect incoming material for defects and damages.
- Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize warehouse space in accordance with Lean principles.
- Utilize fork-truck to load and unload material on delivery trucks.
- Perform routine cycle counts of inventoried material.
- Report inventory discrepancies.
- Execute transactions in company software to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Regularly contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Following quality service standards and championing Lean material handling processes.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:
- 2 years prior warehouse experience required.
- Forklift experience required (certification/training required.
- Capable of lifting heavy boxes up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of electric hand tools and the electrical industry preferred.
- Knowledge of space utilization and inventory techniques; proper methods of storing equipment, materials and tools.
What you’ll need:
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
- Familiarity with inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift license
- High school degree
