The Foodware Group is Hiring a Distribution Center Supervisor (Night Shift) Near Lodi, NJ
- Responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of all distribution center functions with accuracy and integrity within the four walls of our facility.
- Lead a team of employees (Temp and Perm) in the Distribution Facility from the DC Floor.
- Manage established production standards by monitoring reports and evaluating/modifying processes to improve outcomes. Hold team members accountable to DC goals.
- Interview, teach, train, cross-train, and develop current and new team members.
- Conduct observations, monitor the work performance of all employees, and manage labor/resource needs according to customer and business forecasts/demands.
- Ensure all assignments are completed quickly, safely, and effectively.
- Create a culture of safety by meeting/exceeding OSHA standards/requirements.
- Foster an environment of collaboration with other functional departments in the facility.
- Embrace cross-training opportunities and fulfill other duties as assigned, contributing to a dynamic and adaptable workforce.
- Manage schedules appropriately to ensure proper coverage throughout all areas of operations.
- Frontline Supervisor experience of 3 years
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System); BlueYonder a plus
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Demonstrate a track record of strong leadership and management skills.
- Drive teamwork and team spirit.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Able to give and receive feedback.
- Critical thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving: applies critical thinking to information received and evaluates what can be used for organizational success.
