Job Opportunity: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Are you ready to be a key player in a company that sets the industry standard? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounts Receivable team. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, contributing to the optimization of accounts receivable processes with a laser focus on efficient cash handling and application.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Heavy data collection entry including ACH, TT, electronic checks, credit card and cash
  • Manage the collection efforts/calls for A/R accounts for upwards to 750 accounts, by using excellent customer service, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Research and analyze A/R reports, and resolve disputes and discrepancies by communicating with the sales team, customer service team and customers
  • Create credit and debit memos
  • Release orders based on customer's portfolio (past due, credit limits, etc.)
  • Perform month-end closing

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years related working experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures
  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills
  • Proficient in data entry MS Office Suite and other accounting software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritizes multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Work independently but also in a team environment
