Requirements
Job Purpose
The Data Entry Specialist is an essential member of the Donor Services & Insights Team and integral to the overall success of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada’s fundraising program. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Development Department with a focus on gift processing and acknowledgment while helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the donor database/CRM. The Data Entry Specialist works collaboratively with other members of the Donor Services and Insights Team, sharing in the scope of work and cross training to help cover other activities as needed. This position reports to the Donor Services & Insights Manager.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday; however, the employee may be asked to work some overtime hours, especially during the busy holiday giving season, November-December, to manage high volume of gifts. Occasional overnight travel to attend training workshops/conferences may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle, feel, and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Employee may need to occasionally lift 25-30 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee utilizes a computer for a significant portion of the day in the performance of duties.
